Our client is a European leader in global banking and financial services and one of the six strongest banks in the world. IT Security is responsible for the implementation and on-going compliance of relevant Group’s Operational Risk Management’s Policies and Standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Business unit monitoring reporting of the information security risks.

• Development of information security guidelines in line with relevant Corporate ORM Policies and Standards.

• Prevent improper disclosure, modification, or destruction of business information or denial of service through the use of technological safeguards and appropriate control procedures.

• To mitigate the consequences of criminal and environmental threats and incidents in line with Group’s policies and standards focused on protection of people, assets and information.

• Security Awareness – relevant for Technical and Operational ORM Guidelines.

• Implementation of IT and Security Controls with respect to Vulnerability Assessment, Penetration Testing, Platform Security, Security Monitoring (Infra Apps), Change Management, User Access Management and IT Sourcing.

• Risk Management Reporting including providing input for IT Risk and Control Reporting; Implement Key Risk Indicators; Define Additional Reporting and Monitoring.

• Identify, assess impact and implement regulatory changes as required.

• Branch Support including supporting the Local COOs IT Security Coordinators in all CB Asia branches.

The ideal candidate should be degree qualified in Information Technology or related discipline with at least 5-8 years of working experience in IT Security or related field, preferably in a banking environment. Ability to recognize underlying risks and to identify procedural/policy/standard compliance issues; strong project management and coordination skills; ability to work independently and has an eye for detail. Professional Certifications such as CISSP/CISA will be an advantage.
