Senior Analyst

We currently have an opening for a Sr. Analyst - Program Quality our Chicago office.

Role Purpose:

Provide Program Quality Management for AGCS Global Change Program (GCP) activities ensuring compliance of GCP programs/projects with AGCS PMLC/SDLC requirements as well as developing and maintaining processes and methodologies to ensure sustainable delivery of project benefits according to plan.

 

 

Key Responsibilities Duties:

  1. Ensure compliance of GCP programs/projects with PMLC/SDLC over the lifetime of the activity, effectively challenge program content, plans, reporting execution and resource providers.

  2. Develop, implement and maintain processes and methodologies (e.g. scorecards, deep dives) to ensure sustainable delivery of project benefits according to plan

  3. Provide independent program quality review for programs/projects to ensure that they stay on track and potential problem areas are proactively identified (routine project health check).

  4. Provide independent program quality review for programs/projects that are off track to determine root cause and outlay options for turn around (trouble shooting review).

  5. Improve quality over the project delivery process, identify and define hand over processes to key areas and clarify RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) for project stakeholders, drive alignment of process and methodology with IT partners.

  6. Identify and document key findings and recommendations to be shared with the wider OBT community (lessons learned) to support continuous improvement of GCP delivery quality.

 

Job Requirements:

  1. Proven experience of relevant program management life cycle methodologies and tools (preferably PMLC).

  2. Analytical and problem solving – ability to understand complex change programs.

  3. Significant experience in governance and assurance of large programs, incl. experience in driving benefits realization across a portfolio of programs/projects.

  4. Analytical and problem solving ability to perform root cause analysis in complex global program environment and summarize recommendations in a comprehensive manner.

  5. Ability to quickly adapt and understand scope of global program/project activities and interdependencies with strong focus on risk management and mitigation.

  6. Ability to express ideas and messages clearly, both written and verbally. Ability to engage diverse stakeholders with conflicting priorities and build consensus.
