Senior Analyst/ AVP- Financial Reporting for the Futures entities recruitment

You will be expected to support the business with strong emphasis on controls, cost efficiency and core infrastructure alignment.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the PL and Balance Sheet of assigned entities.
Prepare month end management reporting for the entities involved by the team coverage including trade PL, balance sheet movements, intercompany mismatches, tax entries, accruals and Liquidity reporting.
The applicant will be required to perform local regulatory reporting, taxations filing (Corp Tax, Direct Tax and Withholding Tax).
The role requires the applicant to prepare financial statements for legal entities under IFRS.
Coordinate on-site audit by external auditors
To continue to improve and encourage a strong controls framework within the team.

Requirements:

Qualified accountant with experience in statutory audit and reporting
More than 4 years post qualification. Advantage if familiar with futures business.
Good technical understanding of accounting concepts in accordance with IFRS
Microsoft Excel - Advanced user
Appreciation for process flow and control documentation
Ability to identify control weaknesses
Ability to create and maintain well-documented procedure manual
Proactive and assertive in driving control improvement
Ability to generate process improvement/efficiency
Solid problem solving ability
