Senior Analyst – Billing Operations recruitment

The Senior Analyst - Billing Operations position will provide overall support of the billing and invoicing functions for our Medicare Part D Premium Billing Team. One of the primary responsibilities will be to assist and oversee the monitoring of billing processes and functions from recent acquisition activity, including working with external business partners (client and vendor).

Further business objectives and responsibilities will include systems and business oversight of processing of direct members and client (employer groups and State Pharmaceutical Assistance Program - SPAP) invoicing and deliverables.

Tasks will also include maintaining key controls, including, but not limited to monitoring, tracking, metrics reporting and quality assurance oversight for all aspects of billing processes. Accuracy and attention to detail is critical. Candidate should be able to demonstrate prior billing operations experience coupled with financial analysis and understanding of root cause analysis as well as driving resolution to billing issues. Will work cross functionally with other business and technical resources within the company.
NOTE: This position may require a few trips to visit vendor or client site(s).

B.A/B.S. in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field.

Experience in Medicare Part D desired. A minimum of 6 years of experience in a fast pace operations environment using automated financial systems preferred. Able to demonstrate experience in data analysis, presentation and Management reporting and interaction. Moderate degree of client interaction and/or management of client expectations desired. Prior integration/consolidation experience is a plus.

Proficiency in MS Word and Excel required (experience generating summary and detail reports in MS Excel). MS Access proficiency or knowledge preferred. Experience in SAP also desirable. Experience in working with automated financial systems; ability to function in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, documenting policy and procedures. Strong customer service and problem-solving skills required. Experience in analysis of financial data, data mining and performing reconciliations are a plus. Must be able to work independently and in a team environment. Strong communication skills to work with both internal and external customers. Demonstrated ability to problem solve moderate to complex operational issues, and moderate financial and/or reconciliation issues. Demonstrate experience in leading individuals or groups as a subject matter expert. Demonstrated experience in working with external clients preferred.
