Senior Analyst, Client Relations recruitment

Accountabilities

Reporting to the Assistant Vice President, Client Relations, you are responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and reporting on client specific performance, cost, and fund data, providing support to the Vice President, Assistant Vice President, and Senior Managers. 

You will review and monitor the client statement of investment policies and goals and investment policy statements for completeness and accuracy, making recommendations for changes to the Assistant Vice President, Client Relations. 

You are responsible for preparing the necessary data, reports, and presentations for clients.

You assist in the investment reporting for AIMCo pension, endowment and other clients, information analytics and other investment related activities, as well as assist in the production of quarterly and ad hoc reports for AIMCo clients and other investment related activities by preparing documents and presentations for the Manager, Client Reporting review and approval. 

Education and Experience: 

•          University Degree in Commerce, Business, Economics, or another related field, supplemented by a minimum of 5 years demonstrated working knowledge and experience in the investment field is required.

•          Completion of, or working towards the completion of, the CFA designation is an asset.

•          Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as strong interpersonal, team, facilitation, decision making, research, and analytical skills are required.

•          Knowledge of performance measurement and attribution analysis and understanding of industry practices and policies, as well as basic concepts of valuation and investment theory, knowledge of accounting, financial markets and instruments is required. 

•          Computer skills (Excel, Word, Access, FMC) and experience with databases financial models are a necessity.

•          Familiarity with financial databases and spreadsheet application are essential.

NOTE: Final candidates will also be asked to undergo a security screening, which includes a credit bureau and a criminal record investigation, the results of which must be acceptable to AIMCo.
