Senior Analyst Developer Job in London, London UK
My client, based in London is currently looking for a Senior Analyst Developer to join their busy team.
As a Senior Analyst Developer you're main responsibilities will include:-
• Being assigned to development and system design tasks of any complexity, and participation in Systems Analysis and user requirements definition.
• Deputises for the Project Leader, when required by the Team Manager.
• Day to day mentoring of new IT staff. Carry out training of client staff in the use of IT systems.
• The post holder will be expected to be able to work with limited guidance to deliver working business solutions in line with user needs, referring to IT management when appropriate.
• Assists in the planning of the team's work programme, including estimation of design, programming and support activities.
• Achieves job completion according to plan and within budget.
• Able to communicate complicated information to users in a form that they understand and to discuss and advise on solutions.
• Able to deal with other ICT departments and external third parties to ensure coordination of development work.
• Carry out user training of developed systems and the production of reference documents to ensure that delivered solutions can be used appropriately.
• Responsible for arranging and agreeing Acceptance Testing directly with users and external customers.
As a Senior Analyst Developer you will have a high proficiency in at least one of the system environments and application programming languages used within ICT; these are currently:-
• Analysis - Experience with extracting capturing end user requirements and modelling an outline design solution
• Microsoft SQLServer with SQL
• Data Warehousing and ETL processes
• Intersystems Ensemble and HL7 message standard
