Senior Analyst – External MI recruitment
Investigo are representing a top tier bank who are seeking a senior analyst in this newly created role. The job holder will be responsible for the commentary and analysis to support external disclosures. The position will also be responsible for developing robust, timely competitor analysis and benchmarking for at Group and regional level.
Key responsibilities include:
- Responsible for the commentary and supporting analysis underlying external disclosures at quarter, half-year and year-end
- Lead Finance support on investor presentations
- Support for annual strategy day presentations, ensuring the story is accurately represented
- Support requests from Group Finance and Group Strategy
- Develop robust, timely competitor analysis and benchmarking at Group and regional level
- Provide ad hoc support to senior business and finance management
This role requires an individual who can demonstrate strength and experience in the following areas:
- Qualified accountant with excellent academics
- Previous involvement in supporting external disclosures
- Significant experience of working in a commercial role
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with a commercial bias, and an excellent grasp of business drivers.
- Ability to highlight problems but more importantly offer innovative and practical solutions, and drive through their execution in a collective environment
- Proven influencing skills
- Self confidence and credibility in representing the department
