Senior Analyst, Finance
Major Responsibilities:
• Support the evaluation of NBA’s growth opportunities across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, including financial, market and economic analysis
• Deliver detailed financial analysis and sophisticated financial modeling to a broad range of strategic and operational initiatives including:
- Developingbusiness plans, business case analysis and presentation materials
- Developing detailed and comprehensive financial models
- Scenario / Sensitivity analysis
- Discounted Cash Flows and cash flow modeling
- Market Size and Share Analysis
• Deliver ongoing operating performance management reporting and analysis
• Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting exercises
• Develop Events Analysis relating to Pre-Season and Regular Season Games and Grassroots Events
• Develop region and country specific economic analysis
• Develop company specific financial analysis, profiles and due diligence
• Communicate and present analyses to management
• Support Finance and EMEABusiness Development teams with ad-hoc analysis
Required Skills and Experience:
• CIMA / ACCA / ACA / CFA candidate/qualified
• Heavy Excel financial modeling experience required
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Strong teamwork, task prioritization and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail is essential. Ability to learn quickly and add value by applying analytical and business fundamentals
• Proactive willingness to help and ‘go the extra mile’
• BA / BS Degree and minimum 4-5 years relevant experience
• Prior sports, media, entertainment and/or international experience
• Prior investment banking or strategy consulting experience preferred
• Experience working with financial statements, including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flows
