Your profile
Suitable candidates may have prior financial services industry experience as developer or systems analyst, but are more likely to have been focused on data-oriented applications (reporting, analysis, intelligence). A broad grounding in Enterprise Information Management tools, principles and practices is expected, together with specific technical skills:
· General understanding of concepts such as dimensional data modeling (relational and multi-dimensional), ETL (Extract, Transform and Load), OLAP, Reporting, Dashboarding
· Systems analysis and design methodology (SSADM, SDM etc.)
· Business Intelligence tools (SAS, Cognos, OLAP, Business Objects etc.)
· ETL tools (Informatica, Ab Initio, MS DTS, MS SQL Server Integration Services)
· Principles of Data Warehousing and/or Data Migration
· SQL on at least two different RDBMS platforms (including T-SQL, PL/SQL etc.)
· Advanced MS Excel / MS Access / MS Analysis Services
Candidates must be familiar with the principles of project management and be willing and able to take ownership of business problems, analyze them, and design possible approaches to solving them within the quality and risk management standards of the firm.
Successful candidates will also demonstrate excellent written and verbal communications skills, be self-motivated and able to deal with senior clients and EY personnel.
