Senior Analyst, Investor Relations recruitment
Responsibilities will include:
• Coordinating investor relations activities:
–Accurate and timely completion of routine LP information requests
–Assisting with the preparation of sophisticated analyses to support investor communication
–Data analysis and database management of potential target accounts and extensive background research on potential limited partners
–Manage internal relationships through ongoing interaction with investment professionals, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and support staff globally
• Creating, reviewing, and/or enhancing various investor materials, including regular investor communications (such as pitchbooks and quarterly portfolio monitoring templates) and helping in the preparation for the annual investor meeting which includes the design of the agenda and presentations.
• Fundraising – take part in the entire research and production effort of the new fund marketing process. This will include drafting and producing fundraising materials (including collateral material, fund documentation, collecting due diligence data), handling investor follow-up (e.g. due diligence questions and responding to investor questionnaires), and participation in some onsite meetings where appropriate.
This opportunity is specifically aimed at an individual who is not seeking a client-facing opportunity. It would suit an individual who enjoys the more technical aspects of a financial services position and requires a high degree of initiative, analytical rigor and a strong attention to detail.
Candidates for the role should have at least 2 to 4 years of professional experience, ideally with at least 2 years of financial services experience. Previous investor relations experience is not essential. Additionally, while direct private equity investment experience is not required, some transaction experience would be helpful. The candidate’s background could include accounting, MA, leveraged finance, financial sponsor coverage, fund of funds, private equity placements, fundraising, asset management sales, investment consulting, etc. The candidate should have a top tier educational background and strong quantitative skills are critical.
