(Senior) Analyst (m/f) Debt/Leverage Finance -MLA Investment Bank recruitment

The team offers products ranging from investment grade lending to international covered bonds, loans, and structured asset-backed finance facilities. YTD the team has been responsible for arranging more than EUR 1.5 Billion in corporate and leverage transactions for its clients.   

The international corporate lending Team is currently looking for a Senior Analyst Leverage Finance (m/f) with more than three years experience, within Europe.  Candidates are required to have a deep understanding of international markets, and a proven track record, of both financing and credit review projects in Europe.

Description:

• Work as part of a team on the execution of leveraged and investment grade finance transactions (acting as MLA)

• Undertake industry group research and analysis using a variety of data sources

• Undertake company and transaction specific analysis and valuations with a focus on Western Europe

• Assist in the preparation of pitch books and formal client presentations

• Perform financial modelling and sensitivity analysis on Large-Cap-LBO transactions  

• Review, challenge, interpret and analyse due diligence reports, and report findings and conclusions to senior members of the deal team

• Production of sections of internal credit papers under the supervision of senior colleagues

• Assist deal team in the completion of all administrative and control functions connected with the transaction and credit approval process

• Perform routine analysis of information, developing conclusions and responses;

• Document the findings of research, analysis and calculations

• Perform valuation and leverage analysis of trading, MA and leveraged buyout comparable com

• Develop a solid documentation understanding of LBO transactions from a MLA viewpoint

Skills:

• The successful candidate will have at least three years experience in commercial lending, corporate finance, or Private Equity.

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred (accounting/finance/economics) or equivalent work experience

• Advanced Excel modelling, Word and PowerPoint knowledge

• Strong project management skills with an ability to work independently and proactively on multiple projects and to strict deadlines

• Ability to analyse information and formulate responses to issues; and Analytical rigour, reliable, accurate and with an attention to detail

• Possesses the ability to balance multiple work assignments and multitask in addition to having organized work habit

• Excellent presentation and documentation skills required

• Excellent command of written and spoken English and German required

• Able to work within a dynamic and international environment
