Senior Analyst – Portfolio Risk recruitment
Job Description
Responsible for Portfolio analysis within the Portfolio (Credit) Risk group.
Key Roles Responsibilities
- Perform periodical assessment and reporting of key credit risk issues within the WB portfolio
- Based on changing business / regulatory requirements, develop and maintain the SCB credit risk pricing tools
- Provide training to various business lines / countries on the credit pricing tool
- Liaise with countries / credit officers and produce Large Exposure review reports on a BAU basis
- Perform half yearly collateral strategy review
- Support the development of a framework to evaluate the performance of the WB portfolio linking risk and return
- Support the Basel III initiatives and perform impact assessment based on changing regulations
- Support business in understanding regulations and provide analysis / tools for impact analysis
- Interact with key stakeholders to better understand the business, finance and risk elements influencing the development of the WB portfolio
Qualifications Skills
- Finances or Economics degree (or equivalent), preferably at a Master Degree or higher
- Familiarity with Standard Chartered operations and Senior Management requirements
- Familiarity with both Banking and Capital market products.
- Hands-on experience in a credit risk management including Basle II and Economic Capital concepts is a plus.
- Proficient PC skills, including ability to use Excel spreadsheets and basic formulas/macros for data mining and analysis purposes is a must
- Highly responsive individual
- International and cross business team worker, with strong inter-personal and communication skills
- Dedicated and committed team player with the ability to work independently
