For a project with the European Commission we are looking for a Senior Analyst-Programmer.
CONTEXT/INTRODUCTION AND OBJECTIVES
The Senior Analyst Programmer will work in a dynamic team responsible for the development and maintenance of document management applications owned by the Secretariat General. The list of applications the consultant will work on include but is not limited to the follow-up of the opinions of national parliaments regarding Commission's legislative proposals, the management of the mail of the President's Cabinet, the comitology register and the register of experts. These applications are document centric applications featuring interfaces to the EC document repository, Hermes.
DESCRIPTION OF TASKS
The services required relate to the development, evolution or correction of document management applications of the SG.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/CONDITIONS
- Workstations running WINDOWS XP and Ms Office 2003 (in future Windows 7 and Office 10)
- Web tools products: Eclipse, ANT, XMLSpy, SQL Developer…
- Database server: ORACLE (Release 10g)
- Stored procedures/functions: PL/SQL
