Senior Analyst, Property Development Finance recruitment

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Previous experience working for a lending institution in a loan underwriting or credit position

• Excellent underwriting skills, technical knowledge and understanding of underwriting principles for residential development projects

• Must be able to clearly demonstrate a sound understanding of the real estate finance markets and lending processes

• Must be able to demonstrate commercial awareness and knowledge of the UK real estate market

Overview of the role:

Underwriting

• Review project appraisals and financial models to understand all project and finance dynamics

• Conduct comprehensive borrower due diligence at private individual and corporate level

• Ensure deadlines for completion are met by devising and working to a completion schedule

• Ensure all relevant documents are instructed and collated from potential borrower and third party consultants, and have the ability to check their quality and suitability, including Planning Consents, Listed Building Consents, Valuation Reports, Structural Surveys, Architectural Plans and drawings, Environmental and QS Reports and any site investigations

• Understand planning permission and listed building processes and consents

• Have the ability to analyse and interpret financial statements and operating reports

• Liaise with borrowers, solicitors and transaction 3rd parties as necessary to progress deals to completion

• Ensure Money Laundering and KYC documents are procured and procedures are adhered to
