Senior Analyst recruitment

FRC is recruiting for a Senior Analyst to work on its mutual fund products. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct in-depth research on product, marketing, distribution, and business trends in the funds industry

• Write high quality reports focusing on changes in the fund business in multiple areas, to help clients understand what it means for their business, products and strategies.

• Discuss findings with clients and internally

• Collaborate with colleagues to identify and develop research themes, edit reports, conduct presentations and webcasts

• Assist on and lead various research and consulting projects

• Support senior management, colleagues,  and sales team in preparing and delivering presentations for clients and prospects.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven research, analytical, writing, editorial, and communication skills

• Advanced abilities to work with information tools and turn data into knowledge

• Ability to work independently, collaborate in teams, and deal with clients at a high level

• Bachelor’s degree with high achievement; Masters or CFA helpful.

• Mutual Fund industry experience required, i.e., 5+ years in the US Mutual Fund industry, either at a MF company, or a research/data company that tracks the fund business.  If at a fund company, as an analyst in competitive, product or marketing strategy.  Used research and data from research firms like Strategic Insight, FRC, Cerulli, etc.;  If at a research firm, as a writer/researcher/analyst.

• Strong speaking skills – the desire and capability to present in front of clients (both analysts and senior executives)  your thoughts on important topics in the industry and in your area of expertise

• Desire to grow a business/practice
