Warnaco Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a talented Senior Analyst Retail Systems to join our team. Warnaco's history dates back to 1874. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager Retail Systems, the Senior Analyst Retail Systems will be a key member of the Enterprise Information Management team and provide direct support to the global retail community.  The Senior Analyst will partner with planners, merchandisers, store operators, retail controllers and marketing individuals to ensure that systems are directly aligned with their current reporting requirements.

*Serve as a key partner to the Retail community in identifying ways in which IT can better enable the business in areas including planning, merchandising, marketing, store operations, analytics and reporting.  This responsibility includes direct support of the Epicor Merchandising, Point of Sale (POS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, and the Oracle Retail Planning system which includes Merchandise Financial Planning, Assortment Planning, Location Planning and other related planning modules.

*Primary responsibilities include design and deployment of best-practice planning and merchandising techniques, including automated forecasting, allocation replenishment routines, price cost management, purchase order management, inventory management, etc.

*Monitor and support system operations by maintaining development / production environments and providing oversight support to regional teams.

*Work with Store Operations Marketing teams to develop and maintain CRM database and regional customer loyalty programs.

*Work with Retail Finance to ensure smooth daily Sales Audit operations and provide support to the month end financial close

*Develop and maintain application configuration and meta-data.  Reduce reliance on consultants by building application expertise over time.

*Develop and support analytical and reporting requirements via Epicor and Oracle reporting tools as well as the Company's Business Intelligence platform -- Hyperion Enterprise, Hyperion Essbase and the MicroStrategy Data Warehouse system. 

*Develop and deliver training across all applications and produce applicable documentation

*Work with the global EIM team to assist with the international rollout of retail systems

*Adhere to project and portfolio management as defined by the Project Management Office (PMO), to effectively execute IT projects and activities.

*Ensure compliance with all SOX controls.

*Keep current on new developments in retail system technology and plans for future upgrades and application changes. Keeps abreast of government regulations applicable to systems operations and ensure corporate compliance

*Requires clear thought process, excellent communication skills, collaborative work style, respect for different cultures and styles, preference for fast paced work environment, and ability to work with virtual teams on a global level in a matrixed organization

*Flexibility to travel is required, including internationally

 *Bachelors Degree required

 

*Minimum 3 years Retail / Financial reporting experience

 

*Minimum 6 years working within IT organization supporting Retail systems

 

*Retail Planning system experience preferred.  Oracle a big plus but not required.

 

*Retail Merchandising, POS, CRM system experience preferred.  Epicor / Oracle a big plus but not required.

 

*Data Warehouse experience a big plus

 

*Hyperion Essbase experience a big plus

 

*Well rounded Retail, Financial and IT background with solid systems development experience

 

*Strong project management skills

 

*Proven team player with the ability to inspire, lead, train, motivate and collaborate with business and IT professionals

 

* Retail apparel industry experience a big plus

 

* Intense work ethic and results orientation

 

* Must have excellent communication skills
