Senior Analyst, Supply Chain - Procurement
Job Description POSITION PROFILE The Senior Analyst, Supply Chain is responsible for the accurate and timely administration and delivery of Supply Chain and Financial analysis to internal customers. The Senior Analyst will support the data requirements of a centralized Supply Chain Procurement team. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES This individual will solve unique and difficult problems as a matter of routine and will operate with independence on projects Using excellent computer skills and a technical aptitude that includes strong data gathering skills, provide support, expertise, interpretation, and reporting for the Supply Chain organization Analyze purchasing and finance-related information including (but not limited to): purchase orders, receipts, costing, gross profit, and vendor performance Provide financial consulting support to business units as they pursue their objective and support to other areas and projects as needed Provide ongoing guidance and Process Improvement support to the procurement team Regularly reviews the spend and processes and makes recommendations to improve efficiencies and drive cost savings Prepares presentations and meet with other business units to provide recommendations QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience and Certifications) Four-year college degree (Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business preferred) Minimum of five years of Purchasing / Procurement experience and minimum of three years of Financial Analysis experience. Excellent interpersonal / communication and presentation skills Experience working with ERP systems, preferably Oracle Expert business applications skills (e.g., Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint) Past experience working in Logistics, Supply Chain, Information Technology, or Financial Analyst experience is a plus Knowledge of Company and organization policies, practices, and procedures Critical thinking ability / strong analytical and organizational skills Understand how the purchasing department tasks relate to each other and the overall goals of the Company Maintain effective communication and coordination within department We are an Equal Opportunity Employer, M/F/D/V
