Senior Analyst/Analyst ? Customer Analytics (Advanced Analytics Team)
Job Description This Analysts/Sr. Analyst ? Customer Analytics position is part of the Customer Analytics team working to support targeted and non-targeted marketing offers. The Analyst performs disciplined and detailed analysis and reporting of Customer data that enables Sears Holdings Corporation (SHC) to grow, engage, and retain its diverse customer base across all formats. This position provides fact based data driven insights on customer behavior and lifetime value that direct change in the business and drives incremental revenue. The Analyst will work closely with his/her manager and other team members to ensure efficient and accurate data pulling and analysis process are followed and the actionable recommendation is provided to the business. Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements Responsibilities: ? Advanced data mining, modeling, statistical analysis required to support business strategies. ? Set up experimental designs to answer business questions. ? Execute concise and actionable business reporting with actionable customer insights. ? Gather data, apply rigorous analysis methods, and synthesize conclusions into recommendations. ? Leverage state-of-the-art data mining tools and modeling techniques to solve business problems. ? Develop, maintain and enhance statistical models to help generate profitable incremental sales in marketing. ? Prepare documentation for developed analysis support for business strategies. ? Use analytics to provide business recommendations to management and advise business partners. ? Acquire solid understanding of Sears Holdings Corporation businesses to drive our culture, of focus on the customer, make more money, and improve every day. Requirements: ?MS or MA in Mathematics, Statistics, economics or other related fields with emphasis in quantitative methods. New master degree graduates are welcome to apply. ? Familiarity with multivariate statistical analysis including regression, regression tree, logistic regression, cluster analysis and ANOVA. ? 1 ? 3 years prior professional data mining or modeling experience (in disciplines such as credit scoring, financial services marketing, portfolio risk analytics) is a plus. ? Highly proficient in SQL, SAS or other data mining packages required ? Ability to work in a team environment ? Excellent technical and analytical skills ?
