Intergraph is seeking a Senior Application Consultant based in their Calgary, Alberta office to focus on supporting Intergraph’s Information and Materials Management Systems.  These systems are utilized worldwide in a variety of engineering applications for a range of industries including oil and gas, chemical, nuclear and power generation plants.

Your Mission

As a member of Intergraph’s Process, Power and Marine (PPM) division you will be responsible providing the focal technical point of contact to Intergraph’s customers implementing the SmartPlant Foundation software on major projects.  Primary responsibilities will include

 

·         Providing consulting services to clients with regards to best practices, cost effective implementations and value added functionality

·         Defining all requirements for a successful system implementation

·         Conceptual architecture of the system implementation

·         Configuration, customization and programming of our proprietary software

·         Designing and leading the proof of concept, initial testing, and detailed/final testing and quality procedures

·         Technical troubleshooting and solutions to application problems

·         Professional services including conducting workshops, training and consulting activities

·         Technical product demonstrations in support of sales team efforts

 

Your Skills Experience

Successful candidates will be proficient in complex software implementations including customization and coding and must have a solid understanding of .net technology, experience with multi-layer software development, database design and administration, complex software installations and troubleshooting skills demonstrated through previous work experiences.  Additionally they will have strong communication skills, be team focused and experienced in leading small teams of software professionals through successful solution design and implementations.

 

Required

·         Proven record of successful complex software systems implementations including systems integration, data warehousing, or systems of comparable complexity involving interdependencies

·         Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Concepts and ability to interpret and model using UML diagrams

·         Experience in supervising/leading small teams of software professionals

·         Strong interpersonal and communication skills (English written and verbal)

 

Nice to have

·         Knowledge of the North American Process marketplace

·         Knowledge of Document Management work processes preferably within Owner Operator and/or EPC, or similar industries or experience with the Construction sector of those industries

·         Working knowledge of Intergraph's SmartPlant Foundation

·         Experience creating custom web parts using ASP.NET 2.0
