Senior Application Developer – Investment Institution recruitment
This company is currently in search of a specialist to fit within their ever growing team. This team is an application development team that focus primarily on Investment Management Applications, and offers the successful candidate the job opportunity to work on greenfield development.
The reason for this Application developer job opportunity is because they have finalised an approval for an additional headcount within the team due to the continual success for the team.
As the application developer, you will be directly reporting to the Development Manager and be working within an experienced team of Senior Developers (8-12ppl).
With the diverse projects that the team are exposed to, they are currently looking for a strong developer (minimum 5 years experience) who can specialise in n-tier object oriented development in Java. You will primarily be developing in J2EE but will also develop within J2SE. As majority of the projects are open source development, SPRING or HIBERNATE experience is also much required. As mentioned, projects are based on n-tier object oriented design, so strong middle tier experience and database exposure would also be advantageous.
If you have strong development tools in other area, but show a strong development knowledge, your application will be considered also.
Other skills considered include: .Net Framework, AS/400 (iSeries), Drupal.
