Senior Application Support Analyst recruitment

Summary of Role

Working as part of an international support team spread across London, New York, Chicago, Hong Kong, and India, the Senior Application Support Analyst will be the primary point of contact supporting two main Risk applications and other pricing applications. This position is client-facing and will involve frequent interaction with the Development team, Rates Trading Desk, Exotics Team, and other main business functions.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

Investigating issues thrown up by desk risk processes

Responding to service requests 

Ensuring overnight risk data is completed on time.

Tracking and reporting of all incidents

Liasing with Development Team and front-office business users (Traders and Risk Managers) to resolve issues

Escalating issues to appropriate owners and groups

Skills Experience

Previous Application Support experience in a Risk environment

Ability to query SQL database

Good business acumen and communication skills

UNIX or Windows
