Reporting into the technology manager, your mandate as the Senior Application Support Specialist will be to ensure stability across the large scale distributed eCommerce platform. You MUST be a high calibre technically savvy individual with a hands on Python/Shell/Perl scripting experience.

You should have critical skills to resolve issues on distributed systems. You MUST have sound knowledge of databases (Oracle/Sybase/MS-Sql), infrastructure computing, Middleware and messaging technologies (like MQ/Tibco etc.).You are required to be client facing in your duties with substantial exposure in providing solutions to Level 2 application/user queries.

In order to be successful, in addition to the above mentioned skill set, I am keen to speak to individuals with strong ability to understand complex systems and excellent problem solving skills, along with high analytical and outstanding communication skills.
