Senior Applications Engineer
Summary:
Support the Micro-Integration group with respect to multi-chip modules applications support. Help with the description of discrete solutions on system level as well as related solutions in a multi-chip module package configuration. An importance will be placed on MOSFET power products complimentary control drivers ICs. Help with the development of demo boards, troubleshooting product in a manufacturing atmosphere, developing P Spice model simulations, writing supporting applications notes articles for product launch. Applicant must have a solid emphasis in supporting feasibility of product development developing new product roadmap strategies with the Strategic Marketing team. Applicant must offer teaching to less senior applications engineer on discrete component evaluation, simulation tools, system hardware development.
Requirements:
· Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering.
· Knowledge of SMPS in portable consumer markets spaces the unique necessities in that space with respect to function/form/fit.
· Solid skill in circuit modeling tools such as P Spice.
· Expert understanding in system level switch mode power supplies mainly on DC-DC topology.
· Skill with multi-chip modules the related bench level assessment challenges with those products.
· Solid skill in component level discretes found in SMPS such as feedback, control, power stage FET products.
