Job Description POSITION SUMMARY ?Please note the two work locations when applying: ·Only Aetna employees who currently work in Hartford, CT, may apply for these positions in our Hartford, CT office. ·External candidates would be required to work in our Phoenix, AZ office. As a member of the Enterprise Business Architecture team, lead and/or participate in the development of business and technology blueprints that guide business initiative planning, as well as advance the progression of enterprise architectures and capabilities. Conduct and document executive and subject matter expert interviews, develop the business context diagram, the component business model, process models, business needs and the in-flight project and blueprint dependency inventory. Define business and technology initiatives, facilitate team discussions to identify cost and benefit ranges, and develop the roadmap. Manage business architecture work stream, conduct work product reviews and deliver presentations that articulate business and technology architecture direction to business and system audiences. Govern blueprint and architecture progression through metrics that analyze business capabilities and technology solutions implemented. Support business architecture activities across broader Enterprise Architecture team to develop reference artifacts. Participate in the alignment of strategy and enterprise capabilities to business portfolio planning, funding and execution cycles. EDUCATION The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Desired prior experiences include: an in-depth understanding of business domains in healthcare insurance areas; an understanding of healthcare market and financial drivers, technology trends, economic structures and stakeholder requirements; demonstrated experiences developing enterprise-wide business and technology blueprints and business architecture models; experiences that apply six sigma (black belt) skills through process model development; proficient use of applications and tools like Mega, Websphere Business Modeler, Popkin System Architect, Clear Case, Casewise, Quick Base, IBM Rational Suite, MS Office Suite; and experiences with enterprise architecture frameworks like Zachman, EAP, SEA, MDA and TOGAF. Must have a successful track record of delivering high quality work, offering creative thinking and solutions, along with the ability to adapt to evolving roles and direction.
