Senior Architectural Sales Consultant
Our client is a well-established international manufacturer of high end flooring products. They are the major force in flooring in Australia and after a restructure are seeking a senior architectural sales executive to work in their Melbourne office.
This role would report into the Regional Manager and will form part of a strong architectural and trade sales team in Melbourne. The role will be hands on sales and specification driven, dealing with VIC’s leading architects and designers and aiming to gain specification of the products into various commercial building projects. You will be measured on quotes, tenders, pipeline of projects and m2 sold of the product. The product can go into a range of applications including corporate, retail, aged care, hospitality, retail and education, so your target area is large. We are seeking applicants who aspire to move into sales or state management in the future. This will be an ideal role for a proven architectural sales consultant seeking a career path to management.
- To be considered for this attractive role you will need the following;
- Proven track record of specification sales with architects and designers in Victoria.
- High end interior building products sales experience
- Strong sales, business development and networking skills.
- Superior relationship building capabilities.
- Aspirations for a career move to sales management.
- High level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, personality and get up and go.
- Solid understanding of the commercial fit out process.
- Desire to build a long term career with our client.
In return we can offer a negotiable base salary around the $85k mark plus fully maintained car / allow + super + uncapped bonus paid quarterly. The OTE earnings will be $140K ++. You will also gain management training and step in as 2IC prior to moving up to become a manager.
