Senior Asset Management Business Analyst recruitment
The Middle Office offering is utilized by industry leaders and is a strategic outsource partner. The Business Analyst will help define and co-ordinate development activity across multiple sites, directly developing and maintaining our Middle Office applications from the Operational perspective.
Duties
• To be client facing and the 'face' of the Business for all things related to Investor Administration Services and have the ability to liaise, knowledgeably on pipeline developments that the team are working on delivering.
• To build relationships and manage/partner with multiple senior-level client contacts.
• To fully contribute to SFS Technology management team, ensuring that the regional and global strategies and priorities remain aligned.
• To act as client liaison for change management or project related tasks.
- Full analysis of client and internal requirements in respect of the full Middle Office services e.g. Trade Support, Investment Accounting, Reconciliations and Corporate Action Services and development of target operating models and procedures with the respective parties.
- Development of business requirements in partnership with Operations BAU teams and Product partners both locally and potentially globally.
- Development of Implementation Plans and ongoing management of the plans in conjunction with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Help the orchestration of comprehensive test plans and oversight of the execution of these plans with respective internal and external parties and clients.
- Identification of initiatives to improve the control and efficiency of EMEA IAS Operations.
- Help drive regional and global strategy to ensure consistent application.
Knowledge/ Experience
- Proven professional skills, 10+ years experience in the Asset Management industry.
• Experience of Asset Management Middle Office outsourcing.
• Logical approach to analysis and problem solving.
• Clear, concise, and effective oral and written communicator who engages in active dialog.
• Strong influencing skills and ability to work in a complex matrix environment to influence key stakeholders in operations, technology and other key partners.
• Proven team player, with the ability to work within a distributed team environment.
• Proven experience in gathering, defining and documenting business requirements and understanding the wider potential implications.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively in a high-pressure environment.
