Senior Associate – Conduct Risk Analysis recruitment

As the UK's statutory regulator of financial services markets, it’s our role to maintain market confidence and protect consumers. Join us and you will play a crucial role in achieving these objectives.

Working within our Conduct Specialists Department – which deals in forward-looking conduct risk analysis – you’ll help identify risks before they happen. This will involve analysing firms’ business models, strategies and financial data to identify where the largest firms we regulate may pose risks to consumers, while providing specialist support in how to assess those risks.

Dealing with a wide range of internal stakeholders, analysing market data and keeping abreast of market trends will all be part and parcel of your role. You may also undertake macro-economic analysis of overall product demand and supply, as well as developing tools to analyse risks to consumers posed by particular products.

Whether your experience is in financial analysis or auditing, from the Civil Service or a regulated firm, your background will have given you the confidence and credibility to work alongside everyone from economists and consultants to statisticians and analysts. You are also likely to have a good degree in economics or finance, as well as a professional qualification, such as CFA or ACA. First-class stakeholder management and all-round communications skills are a must.

In return, you can look forward to intellectually challenging work within a high-profile organisation.
