Headquartered in Singapore, our client is an Asian investment house supported by offices across Asia and Latin America, and with investments concentrated in Asia and growth markets. It is seeking a high calibre finance professional to join its Financial Reporting team.
You will be responsible for managing a small team in the financial accounting and management reporting function for a group of investment holding companies. This will include preparing quarterly/annual consolidated reporting package and financial statements, and ensuring proper valuation and accounting of investments and funds. You will also provide support to the business in setting up investment structures in foreign jurisdictions. This role will also give you the opportunity to be involved in various finance related projects.
You should have a good degree in Accountancy with 4 to 7 years of post-graduate experience, in accounting and external audit. Work experience with financial institutions, private equity fund or investment house is preferred. Knowledge of SAP and Hyperion is advantageous. You should also be highly independent, analytical, hands on and a good team player. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential as the role requires working with counterparts from diverse backgrounds.
