Senior Associate Account Management – 6 months recruitment

The Department / Team:

The primary function of the Relationship Management department is the establishment, maintenance and management of Issuer business relationships throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The department provides the service for banking institutions, corporates, mutual funds, municipal governments.

The Role / Responsibilities:

The candidate will provide administrative and customer support to Managers in managing key client relationships across the EMEA region. The individual will also focus on a number of ad-hoc projects around workflows within the commercial group.

Key Responsibilities:
*  Respond to customer/issuer queries and as appropriate escalate key issues to the manager
*  Provide administrative support to meet managers cross-selling targets in relation to organizing and coordination of meetings including marketing materials etc.
*  Responsible for maintenance of  internal databases in relation to customer details, pricing and fees

Portfolio Management:
*  Provide support to management  in relation to general regional account management including the ratings application process, liaising with business development and the GMO team as required.
*  Provide back-up  support to other portfolios as required

Customer Outreach:
*  Respond to customer queries ensuring an excellent level of customer service is provided
*  Coordinate and participate in customer meetings
*  Assist Manager with meeting preparation

Negotiation Annual Fee Notification:
*  Negotiate fee and fee terms for less complex fee arrangements under guidance from Manager while maintaining customer satisfaction and retention.
*  Generate documentation such as fee brochures and letters to support pricing approvals
*  Responsible for data entry and registering pricing approvals

Billing:
*  Responsible for billing administration.
*  Responsible for working with internal parties including Billings and GMO teams  to resolve data and invoice issues

Qualifications:

Experience:
*  Relevant work experience in finance services industry is essential
*  Good knowledge about capital markets and countries within EMEA region

Qualifications:
*  Strong academic background (BSc / MSc degree) required preferably in related field (Economics, Finance, Accounting)
*  Financial and statistical research capabilities

Key Skills - Technical:
*  Well developed IT skills including advanced Microsoft Office applications, Powerpoint and Advanced Excel
*  Good knowledge of general information systems 

Key Skills - Non Technical:
*  Strong written and verbal communication skills
*  Ability to understand capital markets, ratings, legal and compliance matters
*  Ability to develop selling and negotiation skills.
*  Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong professional relationships at all levels
*  Highly organised and efficient, with ability to multi-task and able to meet tight deadlines
*  Ability to report and work in multi cultural team spread in various locations
*  Ability to work on own initiative, without the need for close supervision
*  Excellent attention to detail
*  Team player

Languages:
*  Fluency in English is essential. Fluency in another European language would be highly beneficial.
