Senior Associate – Business Development And Investment recruitment
Our client is a well established and highly regarded manager of infrastructure assets with over a decade of solid performance and investment returns for their clients. After the company successfully managed their way through the difficult markets post GFC, they are now embarking on a client acquisition strategy with a strong emphasis on creating stronger collaboration in direct co-investment opportunities, providing their clients with more control over the diversification of their infrastructure portfolios. This will continue in conjunction with the capital raising focus for their unlisted funds.
Due to the above strategic initiatives, they are seeking to appoint a Senior Associate - Business Development and Investment, reporting to the Executive Director, and will be located in their Melbourne Head office. This position will be the conduit between the transactions team and the Business Development Executives in the field, providing information to BDE’s and Investors, whilst understanding all aspects of transactions as they develop.
You will have the following skill set: -
- An investment banking/MA legal background will be highly relevant as will transactional experience
- Strong communication and negotiation skills are required, given the direct interface with senior management, the transaction team and external clients.
- Highly critical to the role are strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Have the ability to influence and contribute across the broader business as well as providing research across the infrastructure investment sector.
