Senior Associate – Business Recovery Services recruitment
PwC's Business Recovery Services team acts as advisor and consultant to a wide range of lenders, as well as to corporate entities. We deliver innovative commercial solutions to distressed businesses and undertake Independent Business Reviews for stakeholders. The cases span many commercial and industrial sectors and the team is able to call upon the skills of specialist teams that reside elsewhere in PwC, which often makes the difference between an acceptable outcome and an exceptional one.

- Prior experience of having worked in a Buiness Recovery Services environment, or on specific BRS projects
- Prior 'Big 4' experience in an established market
- CA / ACCA qualified or part-qualified (or equivalent)
- A keen interest in BRS/Corporate Recovery is essential and you will ideally have some relevant practical experience
- PC literate, ideally Microsoft Office 2007 and Lotus Notes
- Strong numeracy, analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills – good letter and report writing skills; clear, concise and courteous in person and on the telephone
- Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence when speaking with others
- Ability to create a good first impression with both internal and external clients
- Ability to take the initiative and to thrive in a pressurised environment
- Enthusiastic and willing to assist in the completion of all tasks
- A good team player
- An organised approach to work, with the ability to process information in a logical order
- Flexible attitude towards workload and hours
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Undertaking independent business reviews as a member of an assignment team Implementing case strategy.
Controlling case administration.
Support marketing initiative to banks, lawyers, accountants and the wider business community.
Which will involve:
Reviewing and interpreting management accounts and reports. Reviewing financial forecasts, including cash flow and profitand loss forecasts. Reviewing complex financial models and understanding their key assumptions. Responding to letters using standard and precedent documents. Actioning requests and monitoring tasks via in-house databases Preparing draft reports.
