They are a highly regarded, independent, integrated investment banking and securities house with over 100 employees in London. They have a strong collegiate culture and strong employee participation in the business.
The Role
The department offers corporate broking, corporate finance and MA advisory services to clients. The dedicated specialist sector teams mirror the firm's research sector coverage. The role reports to the Head of FIG and includes:
- Developing marketing presentations with appropriate research and analytics
- Preparing complex financial and valuation models for potential corporate client opportunities
- Drafting relevant corporate finance and related transactional documentation
- Project management and execution of transactions including IPO's, secondary fundraisings and MA
- Advising corporate clients on the impact of The Listing Rules, The AIM Rules and the Takeover Code
- Liaising with the relevant regulatory bodies on the behalf of corporate clients
- Day to day liaison with corporate clients regarding stock market trends and developments
- Supporting other members of the team as necessary, with analysis, research and due diligence
- Managing, training and developing a team of five analysts
Who they are looking for
To be considered for this role, you should:
- Have five to seven years' experience in ECM.
- Have strong modelling, analytical and project management skills
- Have demonstrable drive and determination and excellent communication skills
Preferences
It is preferable that candidates can demonstrate that they have, at one time or another, experienced every stage of an equity capital and MA transaction for a UK listed company.
