Senior Associate, Defined Contribution-Retirement Sales and Service recruitment

Our wide range of mutual fund and separate account strategies are primarily sold to financial intermediaries across the U.S. 

Provide analytical, operational and general sales and service support of the advisor and consultant driven segments as it relates to the DCIO Sales and Service team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Act as liaison with Marketing regarding DCIO marketing campaigns to ensure timely execution.

• Work on special projects as requested by the DCIO sales and service team.

• Assist in managing account relationships including new business development and meeting follow-up efforts with existing clients

• Coordinate timely responses to Request for Proposals (RFPs) and questionnaires with Managers RFP Team

• Assist with responses to record keepers, TPAs and consultants

• Handle routine client requests; understands when additional knowledge and support may be necessary

• Ensure CRM DCIO data quality and accuracy

• Assist with the planning and overall coordination of conferences/seminars/plan participant meetings.  Will be asked to attend conferences as applicable. 

• Management of DCIO mailbox to include ability to recognize appropriate distribution and response to requests.

• Knowledge of administrative procedures, sales practices and investment products

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.  Knowledge of workflow and CRM packages a plus. 

• Experience with eVestment and various consultant databases preferred.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:    

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related major.

• 3-5 years of sales administration experience. Prior experience within the financial services industry preferred.

• Series 6 and 63 license strongly preferred.

• Background in Defined Contribution/Retirement marketplace highly desired.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Extensive work with computers

• Some travel may be required
