We are currently recruiting for a Financial Analytics specialist to join our EMEA team based in Canary Wharf, London. The Senior Associate, Financial Analytics, EMEA, will serve as a content support specialist and a liaison for the EMEA region in answering content related client questions, attending existing and prospective client meetings and generating ideas to enhance our diversified suite of financial products. The candidate will work closely with the Global Content Specialist for the region and assist her in day-to-day responsibilities and interactions with management team members from Enterprise Solutions, Global Data Operations, Integrated Desktop Solutions, our Sales and Client Support teams, and our current and potential clients. The

incumbent will partner with the Global Content Specialist for EMEA and senior management to aggressively grow Enterprise Solutions and Integrated Desktop revenues in the Asia Pacific market over the next 5 years.

Required:

· An undergraduate academic degree in accounting, finance or a related field, or a completion of corporate finance training program is required. A related professional certification such as CFA or CPA is a very significant plus
· Previous "financial information" product and content management and support experience is necessary
· Solid knowledge of various SP Capital IQ products and functionality such as the Capital IQ Platform, the Capital IQ Excel Plugin, and the various Capital IQ data feeds, etc.
· User familiarity with competitive software financial products such as FactSet, Bloomberg, Toyo Keizai, Compustat, various Thomson Reuters financial products (E.g. First Call, SDC, Worldscope), Intralinks, Moody's Analytics, etc.
· Demonstrated ability to support an information business product line; hands-on experience with channeling client feedback and product enhancements that lead to increased revenues
· Familiarity with multiple asset classes, global financial markets and trading and securities operations
· Understanding of Asset Management, Investment Banking, Wealth Management, front and back office workflow related to valuation, equity and fixed income pricing, and risk management analysis
· Background in financial statement analysis, valuations and an understanding of financial modeling concepts advantageous
· An ability to present complex concepts and ideas in front of prospective and existing clients and conceptualize specific content and product features or issues in front of junior Sales and Client Support staff advantageous
· Business familiarity with the Financial Information Services industry (i.e. FactSet, Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, Moody's, etc.) advantageous.
