Our Corporate and Commercial Legal team provides best practice expert legal advice and services. The team operates on a national basis, with lawyers in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth. As we go to market with PwC specialists across numerous disciplines (including accounting, tax, valuations, transactions and consulting), we truly understand our clients' issues. This offers our clients and our lawyers a genuine point of difference from the traditional law firm model.
Your role
PwC is continuing to grow its Corporate and Commercial Legal team in Sydney and seeks a high performing lawyer to act in a senior role within that team. In a challenging position, you will act on and assist in drafting agreements across a broad spectrum of corporate and commercial matters, including MA, private equity, restructuring, corporate advisory and governance work. You will play an active role in mentoring and developing the junior solicitors and building the practice.
Ideal candidate will possess
The ideal candidate must be an ambitious lawyer with 4 years PQE and solid drafting and negotiation skills. To be successful in this role the candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a positive and agile mindset and a genuine desire to collaborate with teams across PwC to produce outstanding solutions for our clients. This role is marked for growth and as such is aimed at a candidate that wants to play a key role in the development of the Sydney practice.
