Corporateand Asset Finance ('CAF') is a leading structured asset financespecialist that has in excess of 800 staff engaged in active asset finance /lending activities in diverse markets and companies throughout Australia, Asia,Europe and North America.
As a resultof growth an opportunity exists to join CAF's North American LoanOperations Team in New York.This is a unique opportunity to join a business which is responsible for the originationand investing in a large range of structured lending transactions.
The LoanOperations Team is responsible for all on-going management of our NorthAmerican lending transactions from pre-settlement to maturity. As such, theteam is required to analyse proposed transactions and implement their successfulmanagement on a day-to-day basis.
Keyresponsibilities of this role include:
· Work on closing new deals, ensuring alldocumentation and system requirements are satisfied;
· Processing of incoming loan documents;
· Preparation and maintenance of loan files;
· Analysis of Loan Credit Agreements toidentify key operational events relating to the ongoing management of the facility;
· Co-ordinate and manage transaction funding,along with being the direct point of contact for transaction counterparties;
· Identify interest rate and foreign exchange risks andthe hedging solutions to mitigate those risks;
· Managing deal cash flows and undertake the generalcash management of each of the businesses;
· Identifying operational risks in themanagement of transactions and implementing measures to address those risks;
· Provide a high level of service andorganisational support to the Origination, Accounting and Risk Management teams;
· Provide timely and accurate advice to seniormanagement on key facility events and processes
· Liaising with internal and externalstakeholders;
To succeedin this role you will be:
· Tertiary qualified in accounting, economics,finance or commerce related disciplines
· 1 - 3 years experience in a similar bankingor financial role is preferred
· Possess strong problem solving skills and theability to think laterally
· Be conscientious and have good attention todetail
· Possess strong numerical and spread sheetingskills
· Have the ability to remain organised in adynamic environment
· Work effectively to meet tightdeadlines as well as the commitment to follow tasks through to completion
· Demonstrate strong relationship and teambuilding skills
· Experience with Commercial loans systems(Misys Loan IQ) would be an advantage
