SENIOR ASSOCIATE - SALES AND MARKETING SUPPORT

Holding the sales support role within Global Markets in London will see you providing strategic and tactical support to sales, business development and marketing teams. You will help facilitate the proposal generation process for clients, directly contributing to our ability to develop and win business opportunities. You will take responsibility for working with internal teams to develop robust processes and reporting mechanisms and maintain the centralized collateral library. You will also assist (including coordinating enhancements and writing) the sales, business development and marketing teams to support activities related to generating leads, winning new business and growing our brand. You will work across multi-disciplinary teams to help procure, organise and communicate a wide variety of technical and business content in an effective manner.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist marketing, client and practice teams in coordinating activities such as RFP responses, proposal compilation, campaign execution, webinar facilitation and conference preparation where the target audience includes current and potential clients and partners
Facilitate communication among team members and integrate information provided by contributors into a polished, consistent and centralized form
Assist marketing, client and practice teams with research for, and writing/proof reading of, sales and marketing collateral
Understand the target audience's key business drivers, critical issues and resulting needs and match to Sapient aligned capabilities
Format presentations and manage creation and compilation of diagrams and content consistent with Sapient Global Markets branding and guidelines
Build and document sales processes. Proactively identify improvements and engage relevant stakeholders to execute change
Design and implement process tracking and reporting to provide leadership with transparency around status, upcoming deadlines and win/loss statistics
Support the creation and maintenance of a robust information management system for the Global Markets division
Work with marketing, client and practice teams to maintain the centralized contact management database for Global Markets

REQUIREMENTS:

Strong Project management and facilitation skills
Solid understanding of capital/commodity markets and the sales lifecycle
Excellent written and presentation skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a proven ability to influence senior management
Strong ability to understand and capture complex concepts and represent them in a simple manner
Strong ability to create structured documents and meaningful executive summaries
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently
Strong MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Words, Excel, Visio) essential
Graphic design knowledge and awareness of document management and CRM systems is an advantage
