Senior Associate/Associate Director recruitment
Job Description
You will be an integral deal team member supporting project financings and advisories across a number of industry sectors in Standard Chartered's SE Asia footprint markets.
Associates/Associte Directors will be expected to lead/assist in both deal execution as well as marketing efforts for an industry team experiencing rapid growth and heightened market competition.
Key Roles Responsibilities
* Support senior staff in transaction execution and marketing
* Take responsibility for key modules of a transaction
* Lead management of internal tasks for transactions consistent with PEF Process Map and Operations Manual
* Ensure successful deal closure, within a team
* Guide associates and analysts in deal execution
* Mentor 1 junior staff member
* Development of complex financial models
* Preparation of pitch books, presentations and reports
* Risk analysis and credit analysis
* Sector and client research
Qualifications Skills
The job requires judgment of transactional and structural risks, including: market risk, operational risk, counterparty risk and performance risk.
Transactions have the potential to be complex, requiring a multi-disciplinary problem solving approach. You must therefore have strong analytical risk assessment skills and a good understanding of transactional legal documentation.
You should possess some years of active project finance experience with a leading project finance institution.

* Strong interest in quantitative aspects of finance
* Highly analytical with strong quantitative skills
* Excellent cash flow modeling skills
* Credit experience
* Report writing and presentation skills
* Detailed knowledge of Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Word
* Work under pressure, meet tight reporting deadlines
* Understand and master RIM model.
