About Transactions
Our Transactions unit (part of the Advisory business unit) helps companies minimise risks associated with mergers acquisitions (MA) and maximise deal value. It provides MA deal support services (due diligence, negotiation support, vendor assistance, deal structuring and post-deal integration services), valuation advisory services, strategy advisory services and capital markets support services.
Job description and responsibilities
The Managers and Senior Associates will work with a team of professionals in the Transactions Strategy Group providing pre-deal and post-deal MA strategy advisory services, such as market assessment, growth strategy, and commercial due diligence services to corporate and private equity clients within and outside Hong Kong China.
Managers:
- Lead project delivery, from scoping, budgeting, work planning to execution of primary and secondary research, analysis, synthesis to preparation and communication of client deliverables;
- Manage and build client relationships; and
- Lead development of proposals and other business development initiatives.
Senior Associates:
- Providing MA strategy consulting and commercial due diligence services to corporate and private equity clients within and outside of Singapore; and
- Delivering MA strategy consulting and commercial due diligence.
Requirements:
- Recognised degree from reputable educational institution, a MBA qualification will be an advantage;
- Possess at least 4 years of relevant experience in market research, strategy consulting or MA advisory;
- Direct working experience in private equity will be an advantage;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Resourceful, possesses strong business acumen and market awareness;
- Strong project delivery skills, with the ability to manage and deliver time-sensitive projects;
- Ability to lead and guide project teams in hypothesis generation and issue analysis, leading to practical and robust fact-based strategic recommendations for the client;
- Strong communication and presentations skills;
- Results-oriented self-starter who is able to work independently as well as in teams;
- Highly adaptable to working independently and effectively under pressure in a fast-moving environment; and
- Client-focused individual with ability to develop strong relationships.
