Senior Associate/VP Power and Utilities M&A
I am working with a top Canadian investment bank in New York that are actively looking for a senior associate-VP MA professional to join their team working on a Power and Utilities team focused on US and Canada.
Role:-
•You will work on both origination and execution of MA transactions.
•Writing of Information Memoranda, due diligence, financial modelling, buyer?s lists, presentation preparation.
•Collect and analyse information for MA clients (including its markets, products and competitors) and transactions;
•Preparing pitch books. Using different Valuation models to carry out valuations.
•You will need to assist senior members and liaise with the in-house lawyer and legal team as well as external lawyers to settle legal matters and ensure that transaction corresponds to all legal requirements
•You will work across the Power and Utilities sector
•For the more senior members (VP) - Lead the target sourcing-screening and execution efforts, develop a comprehensive industry theme book, market several MA ideas to prospective clients.
•Overseeing the junior members of the team as well as training.
Candidate:-
•Senior members must have had a good number of years in the industry and be at the Senior Associate to VP level
•Strong technical skills
•Team player but ability to work independently as well
•Strong communication skills
•Must be fluent in English but an additional language is a plus.
