We have an Audit / Tax Manager position with a leading firm in the
Burlington area. In this role, you will be involved in a variety of professional services including: personal, corporate and partnership tax planning and compliance, transactional tax planning, multi-state and international tax planning and consultation, and FAS 109 calculations. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
* Assuming responsibility for all phases of engagements and managing client relationships
* Supervising staff members to ensure the highest quality work product is delivered and to help foster their professional development and career progression
* Interacting directly with Partners on all matters related to client and engagement management
* Participation in firm-wide initiatives, including CPE development, delivery, recruitment and business development
What you will need for this position:
* CPA certification
* Bachelors Degree in Accounting
* At least 3 years recent experience in public accounting as a tax and/or audit professional
* Working knowledge of supervising tax and other accounting engagements in addition to experience leading various project, as well as audit and tax teams
* Experience with mergers and acquisitions
* Construction and/or real estate experience is a huge plus
