Applicants must be qualified with an internationally recognised qualification: CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent
Main responsibilities of the role include:
- Risk assessing the operational processes at the company (which includes subsidiaries, business units and corporate support units)
- Developing control policies and procedures tailored to company's needs
- To manage audit budgets manage small teams of direct staff plus pooled staff.
- Performance Management and Team Development
- Identify Key Controls
- Develop Control Policies and Procedures
- Roll out new control policies and procedures
More information on the requirements:
- A university degree, preferably in business, engineering or law
- An internationally recognised accounting qualification, preferably a chartered accountant
- Big 4 background
- Relevant SOX experience
- Business risk experience
- Experience of leading internal audit teams
- Hands on experience in developing control policies and procedures
- Absolute minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as defined above. Experience in other areas will also be valued.
- English report writing skills are essential
