Senior Audit Manager

Full Job Description

The role of Senior Audit Manager requires someone with strong internal audit experience from an investment banking background to plan and deliver audits but also provide subject matter expertise to the rest of the team.
The role will include:
- Complete planning, execution and reporting of audits both within UK and other locations as a Head of Assignment and-or as a senior team member of the assignment
- Perform projects and special assignments as required
- Ensure timely and complete follow-up (review, validation, and documentation) of outstanding audit recommendations
- Assist the Head of Audit in the administration and planning of the activities of the department
- Coaching and supervision of more junior staff
- Work closely and maintain a good level of interaction- co-operation with auditees as well as with direct team members and Auditors of other locations.
- Actively participate and-or perform the yearly risk assessment and in the preparation of the Audit plan.
- May be required to be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on selected business areas-topics.

You will have solid investment banking-capital markets internal audit experience and will ideally have a focus on equities or fixed income.
You will be able to perform audit work with sufficient autonomy, organisation and responsiveness to conduct assignments efficiently as well as have a strong understanding of the audit process and methodology - rigorous and reliable in the audit approach.

£70000-£95000
