Senior Audit Manager (Technology Infrastructure) recruitment
Responsibilities
* Perform, support or lead where directed, the planning, fieldwork, and reporting of internal audit engagements to deliver agreed assurance objectives to established standards and timelines.
* Perform, support or lead where directed, continuous audit monitoring programs for audit planning and identification of emerging issues or trends.
* Provide non-assurance services to business units where required, through participation on advisory engagements / special projects within the Group.
* Provide audit advice and ad hoc value added services to stakeholders as deemed appropriate from time to time.
* Develop and maintain a robust risk assessment process for documenting and communicating the results of business risk assessment, the consolidated audit plan / strategy for the assigned business areas.
* Facilitate and implement/ deliver the agreed audit plan; identify the key audit issues arising and escalating any significant audit findings that remain unresolved.
* Write audits reports for the area of responsibility to ensure consistent quality and timeliness.
* Track and follow-up on audit issues.
* Support the implementation of contact/communication strategy with key stakeholders (at functional as well as group level):
* Adopt an anticipatory approach to risk assessment through dialogue with stakeholders to assist audit planning and provide quality input to relevant Technology management on emerging risks.
* Establish and develop effective working relationships with Management of the business units for which the incumbent has risk assessment responsibility.
* Act as liaison with Management to ensure full understanding of strategy, plans, products, performance and risk-related issues at business unit level and communicating these to the relevant Functional Team members.
* Facilitate best practice transfer both internally within the audit teams and externally to the business communities.
* Share knowledge, skills and experience with team members to guide and assist in their development.
* Provide technical coaching and guidance to other auditors and guests.
Requirements
- Experienced infrastructure auditor, information security or technology risk manager or IT professional with in-depth understanding of the banking business and technology.
- Exposure to data centre, networks, operating systems, web, messaging and security systems would be a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in banking industry.
- Professional certification like CISA, CISSP, CISM etc encouraged.
- Strong communication skills with an ability to influence.
- Up to date with developments/ market trends within their area of expertise.
- Ability to work individually, with minimal direction.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the Group's core values.
- Ability to commit up to 20% business travel time.
