Senior Audit Professional - Abu Dhabi
Our client is one of the most prolific players in the Middle Eastern economy, experiencing sustained growth and a developing global profile. As part of this they are seeking to add to their rapidly expanding Internal Audit team in the international hub of Abu Dhabi.

Reporting to the functional head, the remit of the role will be varied and interesting, but core responsibilities will include:
- Risk assessments of operational processes for the company and it's associated subsidiaries
- The development of internal control and procedural policies, and the roll out of all associated updates
- Oversight of junior staff, including performance management, coaching and team development
- Effective communication with all internal and external parties in the audit process
- Management of audit budgets

- A university education in an economics, business, engineering or legal discipline
- A recognised accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA etc) - or alternatively a CIA
- At least 5-10 years experience in a similar capacity
- Ideally a background in one of the Big 4 accountancy firms
- Exposure to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) standards
- An understanding or relevant experience in business risk
- Prior Supervisory experience in an internal audit function
- Demonstrable experience the development of internal procedure and controls policies
- Impeccable English communication and reporting skills
