Senior Auditor for Wealth team

An exciting opportunity has arisen due to the team expansion in the one of the top wealth management company in the UK. They are looking for a Senior Auditor to join their Wealth team and provide assurance on the adequacy, appropriateness and effectiveness of the internal control environment and risk management framework. As part of this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and planning of internal audit reviews.
- Assessing the adequacy of control environments, risk management, control activities, information and communication, and monitoring in the areas under review.
- Building and maintaining relationships with appropriate members of the business within assigned relationship management areas.
- Influencing the annual audit planning process by developing a strong business understanding of key business, finance, regulatory and IT activities.

You will have a relevant professional qualification (CIA, ACA, ACCA, MIIA etc.) with a significant knowledge of the wealth/investment/asset management industry and audit experience. You will also have a good understanding of project management principles and relationship building skills that will enable you to interact with and influence senior management and stakeholders.
