Client has immediate opening for a Senior Auditor. Responsible for the planning, supervision, coordination, performance and documentation of field work for assigned audits.
Responsibilities:
- Plans work for assigned audits, and develops and proposes changes to audit programs based on assessed risk, management feedback, past audit information, and changes in the area, industry and regulatory requirements.
- Performs, supervises and documents fieldwork for assigned audits; reviews and evaluates detailed operating procedures and processes; identifies audit issues, exceptions and concerns and takes steps to resolve through additional testing and investigation.
- Supervises audit personnel reviewing and approving work papers prepared by staff..
- Identifies and communicates audit findings and issues to management; conducts and participates in audit exit conferences with appropriate bank personnel.
- Works with Audit Manager to prepare and present written reports of audit findings and recommendations.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor?s degree in Finance or Accounting
· Minimum of 3 years experience
· Extensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and auditing standards
· Advanced knowledge and understanding of banking rules, regulations, and operations
· Prefer CPA, CIA or CFE
