Senior Auditor recruitment
Role Purpose:
To deliver a defined aspect of an audit within an assigned business unit, in line with Group Internal Audit Standards and procedures and the Swiss Banking law. This role is about operational delivery of audit work under supervision. The audit function adds value by providing assurance on the RBS Group’s risk management and control processes, in relation to customer, financial or reputational risks.
Key Accountabilities:
• Member of the teams that plan and execute audits in the different areas and departments of the business. These audits would predominantly be within Wealth Management Division with a focus on Wealth International and RBS Coutts Bank but may include participation in audits outside the direct responsibility
• Audit of projects and other special reviews
• Promote the continuous improvement of risk management and control processes across the group
• Support Senior Audit Managers, Audit Managers and team leaders in the development of partnerships with management
• Support teams with sampling on IT platform
Required Experience:
• Commercial apprenticeship / university degree in business/economics
• 1-3 years experience in working in financial institutions, in risk management and/or internal or external audit experience of financial institutions (Private Banking)
• Risk and control awareness
• Experience in data processing and data extracting functionalities
• Languages: fluent in English and German
• Good communication skills
• Team player
• Willingness to travel, predominately in Europe and Asia
