Our client is a reputable Global Investment Bank with expanding presence in Asia. To support continued growth of the business in the region, an outstanding opportunity has arisen for a solid audit professional to support their corporate and transaction banking businesses, based in Hong Kong.
In this role, your responsibility is to provide assurance that the internal control systems achieve the designed objectives. Being part of the integrated team of technology and business specialists, you will cover the bank's treasury and securities services lines of business and perform detailed audit work, including design and implement the audit program, effective risk assessment and a prioritized risk coverage approach. You will keep track of management's corrective actions in response to control findings and provide continuous feedback in the steering or program control committee on control issues or compliance with best practice standards.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
- A bachelor degree in relevant disciplines and CPA qualifications.
- Minimum 6 - 8 years of audit experience in financial services.
- Strong knowledge of fund and investment products and good understanding of cash/liquidity management processes.
- Analytical mindset and ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English and Mandarin
