Senior Auditor – VP recruitment
My client is a leading global financial services firm and they are looking to hire a Senior Auditor at the VP level.
Responsibilities:
* Oversees multiple audit teams to ensure audits are performed in accordance with Integrated Framework and the Corporate Audit Division standards and meet Division deadlines.
* Manages audits focused on key business areas within the firm, Corporate Management and other areas as needed.
* Assists in the preparation of comprehensive risk-based, long-range program of audit coverage for assigned area.
* Reviews audit reports to ensure clear communication of risks and core audit issues and present audits reports to senior management.
* Assists in the development and maintenance of partnerships with senior executives within client groups to effectively achieve business results and manage complex audit activities.
* Contributes to overall strategic plan; develops goals and monitors accomplishments.
* Participates in managing a team of Audit professionals. Conducts periodic performance reviews; provides ongoing counsel, training, development and motivation. Participates in the hiring, salary, promotional and termination process.
Requirements:
* Ideally you will have a bachelor's degree in business or related field. CPA, CIA or other applicable certification preferred.
* Auditing or related experience including in public accounting or internal audit, with financial services experience (Asset Management, Investment Management, Capital Markets, Custody Operations, etc.) and experience managing complex audit operations or related projects.
* Domestic and international travel.
* Thorough knowledge of industry and Division standards.
* Thorough knowledge of COSO, AICPA, COBIT and SAS70 standards and laws and regulations applicable to the assigned area of responsibility.
